Dr. Ted Simon is the principal and owner of Ted Simon, LLC, a small company providing scientific support to a select group of clients. As a board-certified toxicologist, Dr. Simon has provided scientific consulting services to both large and small companies. |

His clients include attorneys, private sector companies,environmental assessment and remediation firms, state and federal regulatory agencies, university faculty and others. He provides scientific support in the areas of toxicology, environmental risk assessment, statistics, drug and alcohol abuse, and other issues. |

Dr. Simon was employed for over eleven years by the Environmental Protection Agency, Region 4, in Atlanta as the senior toxicologist in the Waste Management Division. At EPA, he provided scientific support at many public and private sector hazardous waste sites in the areas of risk assessment, soil cleanup, statistics and toxicology |

As a consulting scientist, Dr. Simon has worked on environmental and toxicological issues related to PCBs, dioxin, metals and other industrial chemicals. He has provided advice to attorneys on criminal and civil issues regarding environmental risk, accidental poisoning, intellectual property issues related to chemical products, health effects of indoor mold exposure, statistics, criminal law, drug and alcohol and substance abuse issues. He has performed pro bono work for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources regarding fish advisories related to PCBs and mercury. |
